With worldwide revenues of no less than $ 530 million, the poorly received shark action film The Meg was a great success in 2018. Of course, a second part is in the making.
Director Ben Wheatley , known for High Rise and Free Fire , will direct this time and in conversation with Comicbook.com he indicated what he wants to do with the film.
“A lot of it will be respected by The Meg and I’ll try to make a great Meg movie,” Wheatley shared with ComicBook.com. “I don’t necessarily want to make it into something completely different so that nobody recognizes the film.”
