Director Ram Gopal Varma has recently complained about a man who kept a Rs 1 Crore Bounty for anyone who beheads the filmmaker’s head.
Renowned filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma took a significant step on Tuesday by officially reporting an incident to the Andhra Pradesh Police. The complaint was against activist Kolikapudi Sreenivas Rao, who offered a bounty of Rs 1 crore on Varma’s head. The director Using a post on X reached out to the Andhra Pradesh Police, urging them to treat it as his formal complaint.
Mentioning the seriousness of the situation, Varma claimed that Sreenivas Rao collaborated with TV 5 channel anchor Samba to instigate the possibility of a contract killing against him on three separate occasions. Therefore following these incidents, Varma revealed that he was taking legal action against Sreenivasa Rao, TV5 anchor Sambasiva Rao, and owner B. R. Naidu.
The director made a life-threatening complaint, suggesting that people from a political party called Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and their leader, N. Chandrababu Naidu, were openly fine with giving money to hurt people. They were doing this on TV channels that supported them. He’s worried that if the party and its leader doesn’t respond that they are against this it might mean they’re okay with killing people for money as part of their plan.

He offered a reward while criticizing Ram Gopal Varma for his upcoming movie “Vyooham,” allegedly in support of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Before this, the 61-year-old had criticized Chandrababu Naidu, TDP MLC Nara Lokesh, and Jana Sena Party president, actor Pawan Kalyan, following a protest outside his office in Hyderabad.
