Discord, an app that enables communication via video, audio, or text, is experiencing server issues today. The app has around 220 million users in the United States alone, and users are experiencing log-in troubles with its online and desktop editions, but its mobile app is operational.
Users may be seeing a ‘Sorry, you have been blocked’ pop-up on their displays. Even DownDetector reports that the app is unavailable due to server connectivity issues.
Users of the app have rushed to social media to share memes and articles in response to the situation. Here are a few of the most entertaining:
“what’s wrong with Discord, is everyone experiencing this #Discord,” someone wrote on X.
Another user added, “Checking Twitter to see if everyone elses #discord is completely blocked.” “Checking twitter for the second time to see if #discord is blocked again.”
A user was truly outraged that mobile users could utilise the software. They went to X to voice their displeasure: “Mobile users on Discord: 😁
PC users’ take on Discord: 😨
“This isn’t just a me problem. I’ve had all my friends say they all get this on their computers. #Discord.”
Because of the pop-up that appeared on the app, many people were afraid that they had been barred by the app for a certain reason.
“yo tf it this? Am I IP banned for nothing? LMFAO”
While some suggested remedies.
“For anyone who had Discord issues as a result of the Cloudflair outage. If you still see the blocked error press “Ctrl + R” with the discord client open and it should get you back in #discord”
A way out
The best solution for the time being is to utilise the Discord app on your mobile phones, which appears to be operating well.
Remove the app from your devices for a bit and then reinstall it.
Your fresh new Discord should be operational as usual.
Restarting Discord is a simple solution. If a straightforward exit restart does not work, you can multiply the effect by terminating all operations in Task Manager. Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del> Look for any ongoing Discord jobs> Right-click on and choose End task
