For those who are still unaware let us tell you that FIAF is a worldwide organization, consisting of film archives, and museums from across the world. And the famous star Amitabh Bachchan has been honored with the prestigious International Federation of Film Archives Awards 2021 (FIAF). The actor received the award from Hollywood filmmakers Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan in a virtual program on the evening of Friday, March 19. Amitabh Bachchan is the first Indian to receive this award. The program annually honors people involved in the film industry who help handle things related to the film.
Amitabh Bachchan has informed his fans about this by sharing some pictures on his Instagram and Twitter accounts. Sharing the photo, he wrote “Deeply honored to have been conferred the 2021 FIAF Award. Thank you FIAF, Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan for bestowing the award on me in the ceremony today. Modern technology is praised. Connected virtually to the rest of the World simultaneously

This 78-year-old Bollywood veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan was nominated by the FIAF-affiliated Film Heritage Foundation. FIAF is a non-profit organization founded by filmmaker and archivist Shivendra Singh Dungarpur. There, the main objective of the FIAF is to work for the preservation, restoration, documentation, exhibition and study of Indian films.
Talking about Bachchan’s personal and professional life he had recently undergone two eye surgeries for cataracts. And on the work front, Big -B is awaiting the release of Chehre and Jhund. And recently the Chehre trailer also came out. In which he is seen playing a pivotal role in this film. The actor will also be seen in films likes Brahmastra, and Aankhen 2.
