American actor Nick Jonas recently shared his personal opinion on Instagram about his journey with Type 1 diabetes. He was diagnosed with this condition 18 years ago. In a heartfelt video post on Monday, Jonas expressed gratitude towards his family, especially his mom @mamadjonas, for recognizing the early signs of diabetes.
Sharing his views Jonas said “Back in the day, 18 years ago, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. My family, especially my Mom @mamadjonas, noticed a change in me & saw the four major signs that we now know are symptoms of Type 1 Diabetes,” Nick also continued to speak about the symptoms that led to his diagnosis, including frequent urination, excessive thirst, exhaustion, and unexplained weight loss. The singer applauded his family, especially his mum. Saying that he is “Lucky enough to have this incredible support system around me that noticed these signs, helped me make the decision to get checked, and ultimately saved my life,”. Nick is a new father himself, hence he also talked about keeping a check on his daughter as she grows up.
