Donald Trump’s “unusual” ride towards diplomacy continued as he slammed Australian Prime Minister during a phone call on Wednesday night. Reportedly, the US President has told Malcolm Turnbull (Australian’s Prime Minister) that he was “going to get killed” politically because of his so-called useless deal.

As per the reports, both leaders came to verbal blow over the refugees deal that the Australian government secured with the Obama administration. The deal states that the US has to take a certain number of refugees from the Australia (around 2,000 or 1,250 refugees), these people are living in the detention centers on the island. Trump insisted that it was a very bad deal for the US to take refugees and that one of them was going to be the next Boston Bomber.

Trump in a rude manner ended the call and later tweeted-:

“Do you believe it? The Obama Administration agreed to take thousands of illegal immigrants from Australia. Why? I will study this dumb deal!”

In an interview with a local radio station, Mr. Turnbull said that the President and his administration have committed to honor it. He further added-:

“Look, I’m not going to comment on a conversation between myself and the President of the United States other than what we have said publicly, and you can surely understand the reasons for that,” he said. “I’m sure you can understand that. It’s better these conversations are conducted candidly, frankly, privately. If you’ll see reports of them, I’m not going to add to them.”
