On October 6, 2023, Canadian rapper and musician Drake released For All the Dogs, his eighth studio album. Despite the praise the singer has received for his album and its songs, he has revealed that his stomach problems will prevent him from performing for at least a year.

On Friday, he noted on his SiriusXM show “Table for One,” “I need to focus on my health, first and foremost.”

He disclosed that the artist has experienced digestive problems for a number of years and that he initially wants to be healthy.

“I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach,” he averred.

“I’ma lock the door on the studio for a little bit. Maybe a year or something … maybe a little longer,” he further added.

Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, used his Instagram account Champagnepapi to inform his followers that his album had been released. The artist, who has 143 million followers, posted a photo of himself with the caption: “FOR ALL THE DOGS IS YOURS NOW 🐶”

“This what we’ve all been waiting for bro! Dialed in!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥” commented a user on his Instagram post.

“THE BOY MADE HISTORY ONCE AGAIN🙏🏾 ‘FOR ALL THE DOGSDEM’🐾😤” added a user.

“I’m loving this collection of music Drake it’s very good and enjoyable,” wrote a user.

Since its debut, the album has been played repeatedly by fans, who are not afraid to call it the best album of the year.

Here is how the singer’s most recent release has been praised by users on X. Since various songs have an impact on different listeners, one user turned to X to praise a Drake-performed song called “Bahamas Promises.”

“BAHAMAS PROMISES?!?! IM LIFTED AND TOUCHING THE CEILING #ForAllTheDogs,” they further wrote.

Another person praised Bad Bunny for persuading Drake to speak Spanish in the song “Gently,” which both musicians are featured on.

ForAllTheDogs Drake was truly made to spit in Spanish by Bad Bunny “me gusta su culaso” “le da hasta abajo, le gusta este tamaño” 😂😂
