Age is really only a number to Pooja. The most recent trailer for actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s forthcoming movie Dream Girl 2 raises the stakes by starring seasoned performer Jeetendra.
Ekta Kapoor, the producer father of Dream Girl 2, issued the advertisement announcing the movie’s advance reservations. The movie is a follow-up to Ayushmann Khurrana’s wildly successful 2019 film Dream Girl, in which his character made money by speaking to guys on the phone in a woman’s voice.
“Paya lagu uncle,” the Ayushmann calls Jeetedra, who briskly rectifies Pooja aka Ayushmann and says, “Uncle nahi! Call me Jeetu, you can call me Jeets also,” Jeetendra keeps blushing throughout.
“Aapka naam lene mein darr lagta hai,” Pooja avers, in turn the Jeetu crack a joke, “Darr ke aage jeet hai, aur jeet ke aagey Jeetendra.” Ekta posted the video on social media and wrote, “Pooja ka mahurat toh 25 ka hai, lekin bookings toh ab bhi ho sakti haina! 😉❤️.”
Ananya Panday, Asrani, Paresh Rawal, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajpal Yadav, Manjot Singh, and Vijay Raaz all appear in the Raaj Shaandilyaa-directed Dream Girl 2. The movie opens in theatres on August 25 and marks Ayushmann Khurrana’s first cinematic release of the year.
