Nishikant Kamat, director of the film Drishyam, has passed away. 50-year-old director Nishikant Kamat was suffering from liver cirrhosis. Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh shared the news of his death on social media.
Ritesh Deshmukh shared a photo with Nishikant on social media. In the photo, Riteish is seen hugging Nishikant. Ritesh wrote- ‘We will miss you dear friend. God bless your soul. ‘
Let me tell you that Riteish Deshmukh had earlier denied Nishikant’s death by tweeting. Nishikant was admitted to the hospital on 31 July after complaining of flatulence. Investigations revealed liver disease.
AIG Hospital has issued a statement on his death. It is written in the statement that – Nishikant Kamat was admitted to AIG Hospital on 31 July 2020. He had fever and a lot of tiredness. Investigation revealed that he had liver psoriasis for the last two years.
According to the hospital- ‘Initially he was given antibiotics and medicines, initially his health improved. However, later his health deteriorated continuously. He was then admitted to the ICU. Since yesterday, he has been exposed to breathing problems and hypertension. He died at 4.24 am today.
