Sacred Games fame Elnaaz Norouzi who is currently in Los Angles to try her fate in Hollywood, didn’t receive a very warm welcome after her landing at the Chicago airport. The actress was excited to explore work in Hollywood but now landed in trouble.
According to the latest reports, she was stopped by the airport authorities in the US. they interrogated her for long hours following which she even missed her connecting flight. To let you know, Elnaaz is an Iranian, so she got double-checked by the airport authorities and it took a number of hours.
Speaking to Times Now, Elnaaz said, “I had to stay in immigration for more than 3 hours or so and I was stopped by the officers to board my connecting flight. I hold a German passport and so I do not require a visa to travel to the United States. But due to my Iranian roots, I applied for a normal visa as Trump has put some ban on Iranis and they do not get ESTA anymore and that’s why they wanted to double-check on everything.”
Elnaaz told that she was stopped and went through a lengthy interrogation process. And due to the protracted cross-examination session, she missed her flight. She waited for 6 hours than to catch up the next flight. According to her, it seemed a never-ending journey.
