Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and Dwayne Johnson had engaged in a fun and light interaction through Twitter for the latter’s upcoming feature film Black Adam. The conversation started with Varun posting about Dwayne’s film quoting that he will finally ‘get to see my hero back on big screen’. Dwayne too extended his gratitude to his ‘brotha’ Varun and left with a note asking Varun to let him know what he thinks about the film.
On Saturday, the Indian franchise of Warner Bros, shared a short video on its official Twitter handle with a caption, “Only 5 MORE DAYS TO GO until the power and fury of #BlackAdam unravels at the cinemas. Watch Black Adam in cinemas in India from OCTOBER 20 onwards in English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. Also in IMAX”.
Reacting to it, Dwayne tweeted, “Thank you INDIA. Appreciate all the #BlackAdam love (and over the years as well). Book your tickets now – this is a true theatrical experience. Great to connect with all the press from your country last week! Love U back and enjoy the movie!!” #Man In Black #JSA #Black Adam.
Varun, with reference to the update, tagged Dwayne and wrote, “Let’s goo (fire and wolf face emojis) finally gonna get to see my hero back on big screen @TheRock #BlackAdam.” Dwayne replied, “Thank you my brotha! Can’t wait for you to see the film. 15 long years of fighting to get this made. Well worth the wait. Let me know what you think and keep kickin a**.”
On October 20, Black Adam will slate down for the first time in the theatres on October 20. The film’s banner will be coined with the name of production houses, Warner Bros and New Line Cinema’s Shazam. The Jaume Collet-Serra directorial will star Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Dr Fate. The movie is written by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines, and Sohrab Noshirvani.
Varun was recently spotted in feature film, JugJugg Jeeyo, which served to be a massive hit at the box-office. The film co-starred Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, and Anil in lead roles. The actor will be now seen in the upcoming horror comedy, Bhediya, alongside Kriti Sanon and Amar Kaushik. The story is helmed by Amar Kaushik and will release on November 25. The actor also has in his pipeline Bawaal, paired with Jahanvi Kapoor.
