Several parts of Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, has experienced the tremors of earthquake on Sunday. The intensity was more in Patan, Rajkot and the nearby districts.

A sudden tremor of the earthquake was felt in Kutch at around one o’clock on Monday afternoon, Its intensity on the Richter scale is estimated at 5.3. According to the Indian Institute of Scientific Research, Gujarat has experienced a total of 13 tremors has been recorded on Sunday night from 8.15 pm to Monday afternoon. But the strongest one was at eight o’clock last night.
Geologists believe that due to the stir in the ground, these tremors are taking place. The plate responsible for the earthquake is once again making a geological stir. The epicenter of the earthquake that occurred on Monday afternoon is also being reported 15 km from Bhachau. Twenty years ago on 26 January 2001, a devastating earthquake took place. And after that Gujarat again felt the tremors. These tremors of 5.5 magnitude earthquake were felt in various districts of the state for 12 to 15 seconds. As of Monday afternoon, 13 consecutive tremors have been felt. However, there are no reports of loss of life or property in 12 districts of Morbi, Gir Somnath, Gandhinagar, Patan, Banaskantha, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Amreli, Surendranagar, Ahmedabad, Kutch and Rajkot near AP Center.
The worth noticing thing is that there was no loss of lives and property but there are continuous tremors that have been recorded, so far. Currently, all-district hotlines, state disaster management groups, weather monitoring teams are constantly monitoring the earthquake.
