Now Ekta Kapoor’s show ‘Naagin 4’ has also been added to this list. If we believe the sources, the channel has decided to discontinue this show of Ekta Kapoor. However, there is also a twist.
According to a source’s statement, “The show was not able to show much goodness in the TRP charts in any way. So the channel has decided to shut it down. However, this season will not be abruptly discontinued keeping in mind the popularity of the franchise. The channel has told the makers that they should shoot the last episode as soon as they get permission from the Maharashtra government. So that the audience gets to see the correct ending. Along with this, the next season has also been proposed in front of the makers.”
Sources further said, “Ekta is very satisfied with the channel’s offer. She has instructed her creative team to work on ‘Naagin Season 5’. Ekta’s team of artists is also ready to take virtual auditions for this.”
‘Naagin 4’ starred Nia Sharma and Vijendra Kumeria in the lead roles. Actress Jasmine Bhasin was also signed for the role. However, after a few episodes, Jasmine decided to leave the show midway. Sources say that Jasmine was not happy with the storylines attached to her character.
After Jasmine, the show makers signed ‘Bigg Boss 13’ fame Rashmi Desai. However, even after her entry, there was not much difference in the TRP. After this, the team also said goodbye to Rashmi.
