Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut is leading against Vikramaditya Singh from Mandi. Looks like she is confident about her win.
Kangana Ranaut, a well-known Bollywood actress, is making her electoral debut in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut is currently in the lead for the Mandi Lok Sabha seat and she is in the early stages of vote counting. She is running for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) competing against Vikramaditya Singh of the Indian National Congress party.
According to the latest updates, so far Kangana Ranaut has received 2,25,654 votes. While Congress candidate Singh is trailing with 1,94,562 votes. This means she currently leads by 31,092 votes. This is a promising start for Kangana as she seeks to secure a victory in her first-ever election.
Ahead of the final Lok Sabha results, photographs have emerged online showing Kangana Ranaut engaged in prayer. In the image she can be seen dressed in a pastel saree, standing before the Lord Ganesha seeking divine blessings and good fortune while waiting for the results of the election. Additionally, in a video shared by the news agency ANI, Kangana expressed her intention to continue serving the people of her constituency, Mandi. She appeared confident about her chances of winning the seat. the actress said “Mandi has not taken kindly to the insults for daughters. As far as my departure to Mumbai is concerned, this (Himachal Pradesh) is my ‘janmabhoomi’ and I will continue to serve people here…So, I am not going anywhere. Perhaps, someone else will have to pack their bags and leave. I am not going anywhere.”
