The popular fantasy series of HBO Game of Thrones is ready to bear the loss of its most famous character the Khaleesi, mother of dragons, and all-around bad ass lady — Daenerys Targaryen, Emilia Clarke. However, the series winds down, Clarke is preparing to say goodbye. In a recent interview, the actress said that she was an another struggling actress when auditioned for GOT.
Her character on the show made her popular and she is very grateful for the opportunity she was given. She stated that “Women have been great rulers. And then for that to be a character that I’m known to play? That’s so f***ing lucky.” The first episode of Game of Thrones telecasted 7 years ago in 2011. After this long time span, Clarke is preparing to move on from her career-defining role. But she knows it won’t be easy to leave Dany behind.
According to her, “There’s going to be a shake-up of my identity, I think,” she told Rolling Stone. And I feel like I’m only going to understand what the last seven years have been when we stop.”
Now Emilia is all set to focus on her film further career. She has signed some films and focussing on them to grow more as an actor.
