Emma Watson is a feminist. Based on her work and her words, there is no doubt that she stands for equal rights for all genders. But that doesn’t mean people won’t criticize her. Her recent photo-shoot with Vanity Fair received ‘constructive’ criticism.
Beauty and the Beast star said in an interview with BBC, “Feminism is about giving women choice,” she added while promoting her new film, “It’s about equality, It’s not .. I really don’t know what my tits have to do with it. It’s very confusing.”
Miss Watson’s comments about Beyoncé in her 2014 interview with Wonderland Magazine resurfaced, which sparked the controversial speculations of her being a hypocrite.
UN Women Global Goodwill Ambassador Emma Watson took it to twitter to clear the air. She tweeted, “This is the part of my 2014 interview with Tavi where we talked about Beyoncé. My words are in bold.”
