Yes, you heard it right! Terrence Clarke, who was recently declared for the upcoming NBA draft lost his life in a car crash. And it is definitely sad news because he was gone too soon at the age of just 19. The car accident took place in the area of Los Angeles. And the news was later confirmed by Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division. As per the reports. This young athlete was driving at a fast speed. And later hit a street light pole before crashing into a wall. According to a spokesperson he was taken to North ridge Hospital. Where he was declared dead.
Mourning his death Kentucky head coach John Calipari made a statement saying: I am absolutely gutted and sick tonight,” A young person who we all love has just lost his life too soon, one with all of his dreams and hopes ahead of him. Terrence Clarke was a beautiful kid, someone who owned the room with his personality, smile, and joy.”
Not just him but another one to mourned his death was Klutch CEO Rich Paul who said “Terrence was an incredible, hard-working young man. He was excited for what was ahead of him and ready to fulfill his dreams. Our prayers go out to Terrence and his family, who ask for privacy during this difficult time.” Also LeBron James posted a photo of Terrence to pay tribute to him on his Instagram. With the caption that read “REST IN PARADISE NEPHEW!!!”
