Facebook is all set to launch a new app for teenagers. It will be a messaging app and will allow parents to keep an eye on the chat sessions of their teenage kids. According to a technology magazine, The Information, Facebook is launching this app in order to stop online exploitation and misguidance of teenagers.
Via this app parent will be able to know with whom their children are talking? and will be able to control all the activities of their children. This app is named as “Talk” and is specially launched for the children those are 13 years of age or above.
There will be no need to have a Facebook account to use this app. According to “The Information”, the code of the app reveals that parents will be able to control all the activities online done by their children through this app. Last year, Facebook launched an app named Lifestage. This app was meant for 21 years old and below.
