A number of reunions were also observed by the over 9.6 million viewers who tuned in to the broadcast. The following is a list:

He lost out on the award to Robert Downey Jr for Oppenheimer.
Luke and Padme
Even if they never shared a screenplay, we’d venture to say that it’s still a reunion. While presenting at the event, Mark Hamill happened to run into Natalie Portman. In the original Star Wars films, Mark portrayed Luke Skywalker, while in the prequels, Natalie portrayed his mother Padme. Even though they never had a scene together, Mark continued to refer to Natalie as his mother.
“Now I have finally met my “mother”, thanks to the @goldenglobes,” Mark tweeted.
Donna and Sophie
During the Oscars ceremony, Amanda Seyfried and Meryl Streep had a brief yet beautiful reunion. Amanda was taken aback when Meryl unexpectedly burst in and kissed her on the cheek as she was having her photo taken on the red carpet. Mamma Mia, Phyllida Lloyd’s smash musical from 2008, included Meryl as Amanda’s mother.
Harvey, Michael, Donna and Jessica
Presenting an award was the ensemble cast of Suits, which included Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Gina Torres, and Sarah Rafferty. Gabriel and Patrick portrayed attorneys at a large firm headed by Gina’s Jessica on the popular television series Suits. When inquired about Meghan’s absence, Gina said, “She’ll see, she’ll watch. She’ll be happy that we’re here.”
Mattie and LaBeouf
The cast of True Grit (2010) reunited for a unique photo as well. Fourteen years after their movie came out, Hailee Steinfeld and Matt Damon had a lovely moment together. Matt was there to represent Air and Oppenheimer at the Golden Globes, while Hailee was representing her movie Across the Spider-Verse.
Cinna and Katniss
Lenny Kravitz and Jennifer Lawrence also posed for a photo. Lenny appeared in the Hunger Games movie as Cinna, Katniss Everdeen’s hairdresser. “I just know katniss is so happy right now,” wrote a fan. “This makes my Hunger Games heart so happy, ” added another.
