If you are like me, who ends up office few minutes late every other day then you might have ended up wishing for owning a goddamn personal helicopter or aeroplane many times and land directly on the rooftop of your office building. Because if there is one thing that everyone hates most about the work is the goddamn commute. Inching our way through neck-to-neck traffic to reach office and back, we spend an entire lifetime on the road.
We all do a lot of things to avoid the traffic like jumping red-lights and over-taking vehicles from the wrong side that we should not do. Just for the sake of reaching office on time.
But Frantisek Hadrava, a resident of Czech Republic, took things just to the next level. He did what we dream of doing. The man made his own airplane..yeah ! you heard it right..A fu##ing airplane. Not for endeavouring adventure trips across hills and mountains but just for the sake of going office.
His travel to office and back is just about 12-14 minutes. And by building the plane, he intends to cut the time down by 7 minutes. The plane journey takes all of 4-5 minutes but since Hadrava takes a detour as he doesn’t want to disturb residents early in the morning, it takes him 7 minutes.
Hadrava works in a local factory and parks the plane in a car parking area infront of the factory. It took him 2 years and $4000 to build the small airplane. Totally worth it, I say!
The 45-year-old locksmith spent two years of his spare time to build a Vampira, an ultralight plane made almost entirely of wood, which is based on the U.S.-design of light planes called Mini-Max.
Checkout Hadrava flying to his office like a total SWAG while you dream of it everyday :
I am so jealous of this right now. We keep on sweating on the roads while he flies in the air and reach office like a boss everyday.
