Comedian and actor Kiku Sharda is again in news for an FIR against him. Currently, working in The Kapil Sharma Show as Bachha Yadav, he has landed in legal trouble after an art director Nitin Kulkarni has filed a police complaint against him and six others from the charitable trust called The Mumbai Fest.
However, Kiku has denied all the accusation on him. He said, “I just attended the event as other celebrities did and I am not a member or a trustee of Mumbai Fest though my father is the secretary. My name has been dragged into this for no reason.”
Nitin Kulkarni was assigned to design the set for Mumbai Fest, which was a three-day event held in January last year at the MMRDA ground in Bandra Kurla Complex as told by the police. Nitin said in his complaint that he signed an agreement with the trust according to which he was supposed to get a copy of the document as well as Rs 50.70 lakh. But his cheque had bounced and he was left unpaid for his amount and also didn’t receive any document.
While talking about the same, a police officer informed the daily, “The dispute arose between the two parties due to some miscommunication about the due amount. After receiving a complaint we have registered an FIR and our probe is on. We will verify the claims made by both sides.”
earlier, Kiku Sharda mired in legal trouble in January 2016. Sharda was arrested for mimicking Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
