Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi is no more with. He was 74 years old when he died on Friday. His condition became critical after suffering a heart attack for the third time within 19 days. Ajit Jogi was the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh between 2000 and 2003. His son Amit Jogi tweeted about the demise.
Jogi was in a coma since 9 May when he had a heart attack for the first time due to tamarind seeds getting stuck in his throat. After this he also had a heart attack on the night of 27 May.
On Friday, when he suffered with the second heart attack, a medical bulletin was issued by Srinarayana Hospital in Raipur. It was told that with the consent of the Jogi family, doctors have given him a special injection. It is a very rare type of injection, which has been used very rare in Chhattisgarh. However, even after this they could not be saved.
