The show Criket fever Mumbai Indians had eight episodes that streamed in 2019. And it was Netflix first Indian sports documentary. 3. ‘Inside Edge’
Inside Edge brings audiences closer to the world of cricket than ever before. It is a thriller show set against the backdrop of a league very much similar to IPL. The show that airs at Amazon Prime Video. That showcases the match-fixing and also shows the corruption involved in the games.
4. ‘Selection Day’
It is Netflix’s original series based on the novel Aravind Adiga. It is the story of the Indian boy who loved cricket. But he later came to know that the game isn’t as pure as he thought. The show stars Mohammad Samad, Yash Dholye, Karanvir Malhotra, Rajesh Tailang, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ratna Pathak Shah, and others in the lead roles.
5. ‘Roar of the Lion’
Roar of the Lion is a multilingual web series streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. Produced by Kabir Khan the film features Mahendra Singh Dhoni Ravindra Jadeja, Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson, Dwayne Bravo, Deepak Chahar, and Suresh Raina. It is based on period when IPL team Chennai Super Kings return to the league after a two-year ban.
