Falling Iguana Alert: The National Weather Services usually warns people falling rain, snow, and hail. But temperatures went so low in South Florida that this made the forecasters warn residents about falling iguanas on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service Miami Tweeted on Falling Iguana:
“This isn’t something we usually forecast, but don’t be surprised if you see Iguanas falling from the trees tonight as lows drop into the 30s and 40s. Brrrr!”
The low temperatures stunned these reptiles, but the iguanas won’t necessarily die. These iguanas will get back to life as the temperature rises with time.
