Every time, when he shared his opinion regarding Indian Army, he always stood in support like a pillar of strength. Recently, Gambhir had announced that his foundation will take care of the entire educational expenses of the children of Indian soldiers martyred in the Sukma Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh.
In his latest attempt, he has launched a campaign, named “Remove jhijak ki patti”, in which he is asking people to take selfies and shake hands with Indian soldiers.

Gambhir in an inspirational message has asked all the Indians that it is time to end up the hesitation and greet them whenever you come across a soldier.
Earlier, According to the Zee News, he had also expressed his anger after a video of a CRPF jawan being kicked and beaten by civilians went viral. Then he had tweeted: “For every slap on my army’s Jawan lay down at least a 100 jihadi lives. Whoever wants Azadi LEAVE NOW! Kashmir is ours,” and “Anti-Indians have forgotten dat our flag also stands 4: saffron – fire of our anger, white – shroud for jihadis, green – hatred 4 terror.”
