August 5, 2019, proved to be a historic day for the majority of Indian people. As the Home Minister Amit Shah proposed to revoke Article 370 and 35A in Jammu & Kashmir which grant special status to the state, allowing it to have a separate constitution, a state flag and autonomy over the internal administration of the state.
Now, Jammu & Kashmir is no longer a state and divided into two Union Territories i.e J&K and Ladakh. While all others are enjoying the big decision, Pakistani cricket player Shahid Afridi condemned the Indian government’s decision. He took Twitter to tweet:
Indian former cricketer Gautam Gambhir who turned politician recently after winning Lok Sabha elections from East Delhi and became MP has given the reply to Shahid Afridi’s ‘Kashmir’ tweet in style. Here’s what he tweeted:
Shahid Afridi hasn’t responded yet to Gautam Gambhir’s befitting reply. The two contemporaries also shared a tiff when they used to play on the cricket ground together. They were spotted getting involved in ugly fights many times.
Even when Gautam Gambhir recently became MP after winning East Delhi constituency he received flak from Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi. He called him foolish and said, Indian people, voted for a brainless candidate. Actually, Gautam Gambhir suggested team India to forfeit World Cup Match 2019 against Pakistan.
