Girls Who Dress Up Like Men Suffer From PCOD, Lose Desire To Reproduce: College Principal

A woman principal of a Mumbai college gave a shocking remark when she stated that the women suffer from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) when they dress like men. She further explained that this type of medical condition is the result of a ‘gender reversal’ in the women’s heads, which decreases their desire to reproduce.

Principal Swati Deshpande of the Government Polytechnic College, Bandra said-:

“I have heard theories on why girls suffer from PCOD (Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease) at an early age. When they dress like men, they start thinking or behaving like them. There is a gender role reversal in their head. Due to this, the natural urge to reproduce diminishes right from a young age and therefore they suffer from problems like PCODs.”

This thoughtless comment obviously doesn’t make any sense both logically or even scientifically. The news spread like wildfire on the social media which shows a level of aggression and led to the formation of the hashtag #DressLikeAnIndianWoman. Here are some tweets-:
