Connie Nielsen has confirmed that a sequel to Gladiator , Ridley Scott ‘s hit and award-winning 2000 film, is still in the pipeline. The actress told Collider that she saw the project as a “totally different movie”. Gladiator 2
has been in the works for a while. But when will that film actually go into production?
While Connie Nielsen, who played Lucilla in the original, doesn’t have a concrete answer, she knows the project is still under development.
“ I know the project is still on the list, so now we have to wait and see when Ridley has time. I know he’s busy with one or two other films, but after that this project should be next. I don’t know , “Nielsen told Collider this week in an interview.
