52-years-old gospel singer Troy Sneed who was nominated for Grammy has died from coronavirus.
Bill Carpenter ( Publicist of Troy Sneed) shared that singer passed away on monday in a hospital of Jacksonville, Florida. Troy was nominated for the Grammy award for his Youth For his work in the Christ’s 1999 album, “Higher“.
Singing the gospel with the Georgia Mass Choir, Troy traveled throughout the US early in his career. We have also seen him with choir in the 1996 film “The Preacher’s Wife” starring Whitney Houston and Denzel Washington. He also worked as a producer in “The Struggle Is Over“, which was at No. 1 on Billboard’s gospel songs chart in 2006.
Troy Sneed released seven albums and had several hit songs as being a solo artist. His hit songs of the gospel realm contains names like “Work it out” and “My heart says yes” and upbeat “Hallelujah“.
