History Of Santa Claus Aka Saint Nicholas
Santa Claus a was a 4th-century Greek Christian bishop of Myra, which is now Demre, Lycia in Turkey. Santa was very religious and he devoted his entire life to Christianity. He was also famous for his generosity towards the poor. In fact, he presented the three impoverished daughters of a pious Christian with dowries so that they would not have to become prostitutes.

It is believed that St Nicholas merged with the English character Father Christmas to create “Santa Claus.” He has evolved from a popular culture to heavyset person. There are many stories in the form of letters which were written by kids to their beloved character. A boy from Colorado once wrote in the children Magazine, “The Nursery”
“If we did not live so very far from the North Pole, I should ask Santa Claus to bring me a donkey.”
