Urvashi Rautela has commented that ‘GREAT GRAND MASTI’ is a family movie and certainly devoid of any vulgarity. The Model turned actress defended her new venture saying that “It is a family film, not at all vulgar. It’s more inspired by Masti (the first film in the series). The audiences can come in with their families and enjoy,” she said.
Urvashi debuted in Bollywood with her film ‘Singh Saab The Great’ starring opposite Sunny Deol. She will be playing a virgin ghost and serve to be the girlfriend of the three actor; namely- Aftab Shivdesani, Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi. Talking about her character in the movie, she said “It is my first comedy film. It is a very interesting story and the character I play forms the main crux of the story, the soul of the film. I am very excited,” she said.
Asking about her transformation from a saree clad Indian housewife to this glamorous bold ghost, she said – “It’s necessary that each character you play is a little ‘different(hatke)’. My character is the single heroine of the film, but this one was a very different hurdle and a very critical script.”
“As a creative person, I got the opportunity to do comedy, action and romance in one film. To be able to showcase my acting talents in such a role, I have to be thankful to my producers, director and actors for the faith they showed in me,” quoted the actress.
Great Grand Masti is all set to hit a screen near you on July 22.
