Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani Compared Lord Ram’s Arrows To ISRO’s Missiles, Praised Ram For His Engineering Skills

Consigning engineering students at the convocation of Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani equated the arrows of Lord Ram with ISRO’s missiles. He further gave credit to Lord Ram for building huge infrastructure and praised him for his engineering skills which according to him is seen in the bridge, Ram Setu, constructed between India and Sri Lanka.

According to The Indian Express, Vijay Rupani said: “Ram na ek ek teer, ek ek missile haata. Ane ISRO je kaam kare chhe, yeh Bhagwan Ram ye, tyaare chhodta hata. (Every arrow of Ram was a missile. The work that ISRO is doing, Lord Ram used to release those).”

He also linked infrastructure to Ram and Ramayana and added what type of engineers had to build the Ram Setu, squirrels also offered their help in building the bridge.

The bridge was the imagination of Lord Ram. Interestingly, director of ISRO’s Space Applications Centre, Tapan Misra, was also present at the event.

He didn’t stop here and referred more incidents from Ramayana to prove his point of infrastructure development. He said during the battle when Laxman fell unconscious, doctors at that time knew that there was a herb which could cure him, therefore it shows that research was available at that time.

Moreover, Lord Hanuman forgot which herb to pick so instead he bought an entire mountain. What kind of technology existed then which could help shift an entire mountain? This is also a story of infrastructure development, according to the CM.
