This film is a small tribute to this lion-hearted girl who is in every essence a global citizen, The first look of Malala Yousafzai’s biopic ‘Gul Makai’ is out and it seems that the film going to be a powerful commentary on Pakistan and Malala’s life.
Shot in Kashmir. The much-awaited film Gul Makai is a film based on the life of Malala Yousafzai directed by H.E. Amjad Khan and written by Bhaswati Chakrabarty. The film portrays the life and struggle of a Pakistani teenager, and courageous activist who defied the Taliban, and fought against it. Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai’s biopic film will hit theaters on January 31 next year. Popular TV actress Reem Sheikh will be seen as Malala Yousafzai. Also, National Award winners Divya Dutta, Atul Kulkarni, Mukesh Rishi, and Pankaj Tripathi will also be seen in the lead roles. The film is produced by Sanjay Singla. Malala always talked about the rights of girls. She specifically raised the right to education for girls. Her courage and bravery were recognized all over the world and all supported. Malala is known for her protests against girls not getting the education. Along with her Malala’s father also raised a lot of voice against the Taliban.

On October 9, 2012, Malala Yousafzai was shot in her head and neck by Talibani militants for going to school.
