Hailey Bieber recently launched her skincare brand Rhode and just after a week, she is facing a lawsuit for trademark infringement.
It seems like Hailey Bieber‘s 2022 is not going well. And it has not been an easy year for beauty so far. In May she lost her beloved grandmother, with whom she was very close. Then in June, the next shock for the model was her husband Justin Bieber (28) who fell ill with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a virus that causes facial paralysis. Now Hailey has also been sued!
According to multiple reports, a lawsuit was filed against her Rhode cosmetics line on Tuesday. According to the plaintiffs of the clothing brand RHODE, Hailey’s new skincare brand is “trademark infringing”. In an official court letter, the fashion label’s executives argued that the supermodel’s skincare brand could completely destroy their company’s reputation and market presence. In addition, the company feared that due to Hailey’s their business could go down the drain. The fact that the names of the brands are identical is also a problem that can apparently only be settled in court. However, the 25-year-old has not yet spoken out about the charges.
