Director Hansal Mehta has once again opened up on the making of his 2017 film Simran in which he talked about his experience working with Kangana.

Director Hansal Mehta is famous for giving spectacular films to the entertainment industry. He has brought many wonderful stories alive on the big screen. However, not every film that he directed, was a good experience for him. And his one such film is Simran, which featured Kangana Ranaut in a pivotal role. Mehta once again opened up about the making of his 2017 film Simran. In a recent interview with Huffington Post India, he said that he regrets making a film like Simran. As there was no need for a film like that. He stated that making a film was a bad choice in his career.

According to Hansal, it would have been a much better film and that it even had the potential to be a great film. And his working experience with Kangana was also not good. The film flopped at the box office, and Hansal’s relationship with Kangana couldn’t run a long way. He revealed that a lot of his money was wasted while making the film. Which made him financially unstable. He considered it a big mistake by making this film. He further spoke about undergoing therapy as he was mentally disturbed due to this film.
As per the director, Kangana took complete charge of the set and started directing other actors. She also wanted the things on the set as per her wish. Well, it was not just Hansal but the film’s writer-editor Apurva Asrani, also blamed Kangana, saying that she had grabbed all the credit for his work and even changed the version of the film.
Talking on the work front, Hansal Mehta has recently released the web series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story. The series has received a good response from the audience. Not just the storyline but the performance that was done by the actors is quite appreciable as per the audience.
