Recently a video of Bollywood stars went viral on social media and turned controversial. It was shot when Karan Johar hosted a party for Bollywood celebs which was attended by many A-lister celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan among others. In the video, it seemed that Bollywood stars were intoxicated. BJP/SAD (Shiromani Akali Dal) MLA Majinder Sirsa tweeted that the celebs were in a drugged state. He got furious how they defame the Indian youth and call themselves inspiration when they are doing wrong. He tweeted:
Soon after his tweet, Congress leader Milind Deora rubbished the claims and demanded an apology. He said that his wife was also presented at the party and no such thing like drug intoxication happened at the party. He tweeted:
To this, Majinder Sirsa tweeted that he is not going to apologize. He released a video on his Twitter handle to say he is not sorry for his tweet and he doesn’t know Milind Deora.
Now, the rapper Hard Kaur spilled the beans on drug abuse in Bollywood. Recently, during an interview, she gave her views on the viral video. Here’s what she said: “It was okay till ‘gaanja’ was the in-thing, nowadays the industry maxim is if you don’t do coke, you ain’t cool. Doing drugs has become a showoff factor. Cocaine, after all, is an expensive drug. It’s like a gang vs gang thing. The ones that stay together, snort together.”
She further revealed controversial things, she said, “It’s almost like I can do what I want (because) I am a star. Apparently, you are supposed to have a ‘sex, drugs and rock n’ roll’ lifestyle. I’m not a perfect person you have seen me under the influence of alcohol, but I’m constantly aware of actors and models indulge in these things. Everyone does it.”
