Although the succulent collaboration agreement between the sussexes and Netflix was signed more than six months ago, it was recently when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have finally confirmed what will be the first project they will produce for the popular streaming platform – A documentary series about the Invictus Games, the popular sports competition between veterans and military personnel wounded in the line of duty.
It was an organization the prince founded in 2014 to promote the physical and mental health of military personnel, it is without a doubt the job he is most proud of in his past as a royal. However, it is one of the few foundations for which it still retains its title of patron now that it is no longer a part of the British Royal Family.
So this original docuseries by Archewell Productions that for the moment has been titled Heart of Invictus will follow the preparation work of several athletes from around the world in order to compete in the Invictus Games in 2022. Prince Harry in a press release published today.”Since the first Invictus Games, we knew that each competitor would contribute in an exceptional way to provide a mosaic of endurance, determination, and resolve.” He further said “This series will provide communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these athletes on their way to next year’s competition.
It seems like Prince Harry is quite excited about the series. As he said “I am very excited about the journey that lies ahead and most of all, very proud of the Invictus community for continually inspiring global healing, human potential, and ongoing service. ” Let us tell you that Harry will also act as a presenter in front of the camera at various times in this series, which will be directed by the British Orlando von Einsiedel.
