The call for more Harry Potter has been around for a while. This could be because the fans miss the characters from the film series and / or because the current Fantastic Beasts film series within the larger universe is a bit disappointing to date.
Recently, there have been reports that Warner Bros. Want more with the franchise on HBO Max. For example, a film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is being considered and several series should appear on the streaming service.
