There is a new cast for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on stage. In the London performance, Polly Frame will portray Ginny Potter, while Ellis Rae will play their son Albus Potter. David Ricardo-Pearce will play Harry Potter. The cast’s regulars include Thomas Aldridge as Ron Weasley, Jade Ogugua as Hermione Granger, and Taneetrah Porter as Rose Granger-Weasley, who is their daughter. Draco Malfoy will be portrayed by Steve John Shepherd, and his son Scorpius Malfoy by Harry Acklowe.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a play by Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, is based on a novel by renowned author JK Rowling. In the play, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are back on a fresh journey 19 years after saving the wizarding world, this time accompanied by a new generation that has recently enrolled at the renowned Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Following spells are a race through time and a fight to stop enigmatic powers.

The show celebrated its seventh anniversary at London’s Palace Theatre last month. Produced by Colin Callender, Harry Potter Theatrical Productions, and Sonia Friedman Productions, the play is directed by John Tiffany.
It is the eighth installment in the Harry Potter series and the first to be performed on stage.
