Singer Demi Lovato recently shared about something that happened with her when she was in her teens. The pop singer opened about losing her virginity and the trauma she later faced.
The actress of Disney channel and the Popstar Demi Lovato came into the limelight after she appeared in the shows like Barney & Friends and Camp Rock series. And now she has grabbed attention again due to the things she opened up. The singer recently told that she was raped in her teenage. And was assaulted sexually. Due to which she faced a lot of trauma. And for her, it was difficult to manage.
Demi revealed that it all happened when she was in her teens in the late 2000s and was working for the Disney channel. The most shocking part was when she revealed that she was raped by someone whom she already knew. She further said that even after that she had to face the offender. However, she did not reveal the name of the person.
Let us tell you that was it was on YouTube docuseries which premiered at SXSW on Tuesday. When the pop singer Demi Lovato made a statement revealing “I lost my virginity in a rape,” she said. “I called that person back a month later and tried to make it right by being in control, and all it did was just make me feel worse.” Both times were “textbook trauma re-enactments, and I really beat myself up for years, which is also why I had a really hard time coming to terms with the fact that it was a rape when it happened”.
