On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to open the tenth Vibrant Gujarat Summit. Chief Guest Mohamed Bin Zayed of the United Arab Emirates will be joined by a number of other international dignitaries and business professionals. “20 Years of Vibrant Gujarat as the Summit of Success” will also be commemorated at this year’s summit.
Details released by the Gujarati government indicate that over a thousand exhibitors from 20 different nations would be taking part in the trade fair. Thirteen halls centered around different themes, such as “Make in Gujarat” and “Self-reliant India,” will be present at the venue.
Five Things to Know About the Vibrant Gujarat Summit
- In 2003, it was initially conceived by Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Inaugurated during the Navratri festival, the inaugural Summit brought together over a thousand participants and dignitaries from forty-five countries.
- There are participants from 20 nations in this expo, which occupies 2 lakh square meters across several halls at the Helipad Ground expo Centre.
- This year’s Summit is being held in conjunction with 16 partner organizations and 34 partner countries.
- The chief guest for Wednesday’s inauguration ceremony will be Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates. Once he arrived on Tuesday evening, the two leaders had a bilateral meeting and signed many memorandums of understanding.
- A range of internationally significant themes, including Industry 4.0, Technology and Innovation, Sustainable Manufacturing, Green Hydrogen, Electric Mobility and Renewable Energy, and Transition towards Sustainability, will be covered during the Summit through seminars and conferences.
