On December 7, the Mrunal Thakur and Nani film Hi Nanna, directed by Shouryuv, will premiere. The movie, which also stars Kiara Khanna and Shruti Haasan in prominent parts, appears to be a romantic comedy exploring a man’s interactions with his lover and daughter.
The captivating teaser begins with Nani’s character Viraj narrating his young son the tale of a king without a queen. He seems to conceal things from his young child when she asks him to tell her mother’s story. The trailer seems to imply that Shruti Haasan’s character would be the kid’s biological mother, even though Mrunal Thakur’s character Yashna begs the girl to picture her in her mother’s place. The video suggests that there will be a lot to explore in terms of the film’s plot, even though the creators don’t give anything away.
In a conversation with Hyderabad Times, Shouryuv stated, “The film will be all about love; it can be between parents and children or something more. The twists and turns the characters go through in a bid to find love is what it’s all about. Let’s just say, it’ll be like a warm hug.”
Nani has been quite active in the movie’s promotion, and his approach appears to be working. The film’s heartwarming nature was hinted at in the trailer, and Nani has been open in her interactions with fans, assuring them that the film will be great. Fans laughed when Nani, capitalizing on the impending Telangana polls, too donned a politician’s uniform and unveiled a “manifesto” for his imaginary political party.
Nani’s forthcoming projects
Nani will appear in an installment of HIT, which is helmed by Sailesh Kolanu, after Hi Nanna. Following the great success of their previous film, Ante Sundaraniki, he is currently filming Saripoda Sanivaram alongside Vivek Athreya.
