High Alert in Pathankot and Gurdaspur(district of Punjab) due to three suspicious men who first robbed an SUV and then left it. The police of both the districts are giving their best to arrest these three suspicious men. “We have broadly identified them and we are trying our best to arrest them,” Pathankot SSP Vivek Sheel Soni said.
According to NDTV, these 3 men entered the state on Tuesday and left their vehicle at Makhanpur village near Bamiyal in Pathankot. They even tried to speed through the check post barrier at Behrampur in Gurdaspur district and manages to escape. When police tried to track them down, they left their vehicle at Makhanpur village in Pathankot after covering a distance of 15 km from Behrampur in Gurdaspur. This SUV was robbed by these men from
Sambha in Jammu yesterday. This search operation involved around 300 cops and lasted for about eight hours.
According to NDTV, today two unidentified bags have been found near Mamun army cantonment in Pathankot.
According to news agency ANI, the bag had two mobile tower batteries in it. These suspicious men belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed, an Islamist militant group.
Let’s hope that these suspicious men will soon be behind bars and we will soon be able to take a breath of relief.
