“You (cops) are committing a big mistake by harassing our families, by involving our families,” he says in the video, adding, “This is a fight between us and you have involved families”.

Bhat, the successor of slain Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani, took over after Wani was killed during an encounter on July 8 this year.

Holding a machine gun, Bhat said in the video, “We are forgiving you (cops), thinking that this is your first and last mistake.”
“We have families and you have families too. If you touch our families, we will not spare your families… Everybody has a family. You think your families are in Jammu so they are safe. Even if your families are in Kanyakumari, we have the capacity to kill them there,”  Bhat said.
In the one-and-a-half minute video, Bhat says: “Next time, think a thousand times before (attacking our families). And if you still do it, you will find the bodies of policemen in every lane and bylane of Kashmir.”
