More than 7.5 million tweets related to International Women’s Day were posted on social media-hub Twitter. Other than famous celebrities and personalities, tech giants posted their statements of solidarity and appreciation for women around the world.

Apple, Google, Intel, IBM and Microsoft among other known tech companies around the world posted their tweets about International Women’s Day.

Apple

Apple CEO Tim Cook wrote in his tweet, “Women’s rights are human rights. Today we celebrate, we speak up and we listen. #InternationalWomensDay.”  Along with a picture of him surrounded by happy-looking female employees.

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, tweeted a beautiful message about honouring and supporting women.
