With “Barbie” becoming a huge smash, Margot Robbie is enjoying a period of triumph. It’s interesting to note that Margot and Tom Ackerley are among of the movie’s producers.
Margot is anticipated to make a staggering $50 million as part of a contract that includes her pay and back-end box office bonuses, according to Variety. Notably, Barbie has surpassed $1 billion in box office revenue worldwide. $526.3 million at the US box office and $657.6 million internationally have been grossed by the film. As long as the movie does well, the earnings should rise even more.

Barbie and Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” competed at the box office, although “Oppenheimer” won in terms of worldwide revenue. Additionally, the film broke other records.
Greta Gerwig, who directed the live-action film Barbie, broke a record for the highest-grossing female filmmaker of all time. In terms of box office revenue, Barbie is second only to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 from 2011 in Warner Bros.
“It wasn’t that I ever wanted to play Barbie, or dreamt of being Barbie, or anything like that. This is going to sound stupid, but I really didn’t even think about playing Barbie until years into developing the project,” Margot spoke to Vogue in May.

On July 21, 2023, Barbie and Oppenheimer were both released in India and the US. Fans combined the names of the two films and created the “Barbenheimer” craze, which ultimately contributed to the immense popularity of both films.
