Hugh Jackman often identified as Wolverine, a character which he played in many films within the X-Men franchise. The actor is also known for his highly acclaimed role as James Bond. In an interview Hugh mentioned that he have been approached 007 to him however he ‘didn’t want to do the same things’.
Hugh initially played the role of Wolverine in the 2000 movie X-Men, and later he also performed in the reprised roles in the sequel of the succeeding sequels. Now he is gearing up for his role in the sequel of the hit movie Deadpool 3. Breaking the cue this role offered the least relative obscurity and helped him garner stardom at the global level. During the initial years the Australian actor was approached to play the iconic role of James Bond.
Speaking to IndieWire, the actor averred “I had a look at it. I was like, ‘If I’m doing that and Wolverine, I’ll have no time to do anything else.’ I clearly find it more interesting to play people who colour outside the lines.”
Even though the actor did not mention exactly when he was been approached for the role of James Bond, after two decades in 2004 Daniel Craig replaced Pierce Brosnan for Casino Royale released in 2006.
