Alia Bhatt is all set to hit the silver screen on February 14 with her film Gully Boy opposite Ranveer Singh. She is currently busy in promoting the film. Meanwhile, in an interview, she stated something which is now making the headlines. She told that during her debut her first co-star and actor Varun Dhawan had asked her to hike her fee as he thought that she was underpaid.
In a recent interview, when Alia asked about the same, she replied,
“I will not ask for the same amount that maybe Ranveer will ask for because I cannot charge that money just based on the way my film will probably open and maybe the way his film would open. You cannot compare it so I am not diluted about that. But if any new boy, I am not being rude about it, if any new boy who’s done one film is getting paid more than me just because he’s a boy then, of course, I am not gonna agree with that.

Talking about her upcoming film, Gully Boy is directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment. The film also stars Vijay Raaz and Kalki Koechlin. The songs of the film are already getting popular among the fans. It is scheduled to release on Valentines Day i.e February 14, 2019.
