India is going with the same playing XI like the last 3 T20Is and the benched players have not been considered even once until now and only one game is left to play which, if India wins today, will be the most critical game as the series might reach to 2-2.
Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh were suggested to make a debut in the South Africa series but hopefully have to wait till Pandya and company travel to Ireland for the two match T20I series against the hosts.
India’s playing XI is same like the previous 3 matches: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant(w/c), Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Axar Patel, Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Avesh Khan
“We were looking to bowl first. The only thing we are focusing on is our process and are not thinking this is a must-win game. We are trying to increase our run rate in the middle overs and that’s what we are trying to achieve as a team. We are playing with the same team,” said Rishabh Pant after during the toss.
Rishabh Pant tried a trick to flip the coin with his another hand this time but failed to win the toss again and with everything being same, South Africa will be bowling to chase in the magical stadium of Rajkot.
India is hosting the fourth T20I against the Proteas and Rishabh Pant and company have managed to make a comeback in the third T20I after losing the first two. The third T20I win also broke the sequence of South Africa’s continuous run of defeating team India.
