The second over of the 5th T20I was handed to Lungi Ngidi who had made a crucial impact on India as South Africa gets benefited from the breakthrough provided by the pacer.
Lungi conceded only 4 runs in the second over and the last bowl was surprisingly a slower delivery which cleared the batsman’s vision and hit the stumps.
Ishan Kishan looked in great form after hitting Keshav Maharaj for two back-to-back sixes but Ngidi has managed to get the man in the form to give South Africa a great start. Ishan Kishan was the first batsman to cross 200 runs in this series and is currently the highest scorer. Ishan scored 15 off 7 in the final clash.
India dominated the last two games in the series by snatching away the momentum that South Africa initiated.
The “winning-mantra” for the visitors seem to get lost after failing in the last two games which brought India back to the series and created today’s last T20 as the series decider. The series is at 2-2 with Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy hosting the final clash.
Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy is famous for hosting some of the memorable matches for team India and tonight is going to be yet again a historic moment if the home side snatches the win.
